Army Public schools had their origin in 1983 to impart quality
education upto secondary school and senior School certificate level to
children of Army personnel at a reasonable cost. The schools are run
by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) under the aegis of
Adjutant General’s Branch. These schools are affiliated to the Central
Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) New Delhi.
